National Hate Crime Awareness Week

14 October - 21 October

I have been commissioned to write the theme poem for National Hate Crime Awareness Week and will be performing it on Sunday afternoon, 15th October 2017, for the launch of the week at St. Paul’s Cathedral.

The week will run from 14th-21st October 2017.

I will be performing my poem, Hatred Hurts Us All, at St. Paul’s

We stand together,

United in our call.

“There is no place for hatred.”

Cos hatred, hurts us all.

Whatever your age or gender,

Religion, colour of skin.

This battle against hatred,

Is one we have to win.

Lets educate the ignorant.

Dispel prejudice and fear.

Promote that Love is a human right,

Be open and be clear.

We can make a difference,

By what we do and say,

About intolerance and injustice,

Against people who are Gay.

It’s okay to be different,

Lets honour who we are.

Make our world a safer place,

For all of us, near and far.
